For our wedding we chose Immortals Awaken Lion Dancers. We paid $600 for 3 lions. They were definitely worth the money.

We found a list of lion dancers in southern california at http://www.geocities.com/lionscave1/US/CAsouth.html. We liked the Immortals website and Jeff Chan who we spoke with seemed pretty easy going so we decided to go with them. They came when they were expected to and performed as promised. Their lions were beautiful and had a few colors to choose from that can be seen at their website. We had a low fog machine running for their entrance and it added to the whole effect. My cousin who got married a week after us also used the Immortals Awaken lion dancers and got a discount because they were already going to be performing in that same restaurant. Another wedding being held at the same time in the restaurants other space had already hired them. From a guest's perspective, I thought the Immortals Awaken lion dancers did a good job (eventhough it was with 2 lions and not 3 like in my wedding).

Another group of lion dancers I would recommend are the East Wind Lion Dance Troupe. My sister hired them for her wedding and they were excellent. They even had kids performing kungfu. The only reason I did not chose them was because of the price. They were more expensive than the Immortals Awaken group. My sister got a discount because her husband knew someone.
