Blog Entry: The Rengstorff House has the perfect outdoor Ceremony and Reception location, surrounded by natural gardens, located in Shoreline at Mountain View. Unfortunately, we do not supply any equipment other then the use of the grounds. You can however, use any outside vendor you would like. You may also bring in your own food or beverages if you wish. There is just a no red tomato based foods or red wines allowed inside the house. You can have any type of food or drink outside. The house can accommodate up to 150 guests using both the inside and outside area. If you plan on only having your Ceremony with us then we can accommodate up to 200 guests (outside only). As far as rental rates, it is $200 an hour on the weekends (including Friday) and we also have an 8 hour special rate for only $1400. The price you see is the price you pay, no sales taxes. The only other fees you need to know about are the refundable security fee of $450.00 and a non-refundable maintenance fee of $50.00. We do require that you have insurance for your event. You can purchase insurance through the City of Mountain View (the amount depends on the number of guests and if you are serving alcohol or not).
